Grandma Hazel is sweet, kind, and endlessly patient. She loves working at The Knitten Kitten, where she enjoys chatting with the villagers who stop by. An enthusiastic baker, Hazel often brings freshly baked cookies to the shop for customers to enjoy.

Fern and Thomas especially love helping Grandma Hazel in the kitchen—although they can never agree on who gets to lick the spoon! Hazel solved that problem long ago by simply using two spoons, making sure there’s always one for each of them.

Her favorite holiday is Easter because there’s nothing Grandma Hazel loves more than the arrival of spring, when Thimblewood Hollow begins to bloom again.
